Liverpool-Chelsea Showdown
After Manchester United's huge 1-0 win over Barcelona, an all-English final is set to happen for the first time in history. Both teams both are desperate to advance into such a historical final. With an own goal by John Arne Riise in the first leg, the whole Liverpool team spirit had gone down. Elsewhere in Stamford Bridge, their luck had really boosted their confidence up after a controversial penalty had helped them get leveled with Manchested United in the English Premier League.
For this Champions League semi-final, i will go for Liverpool with a final score 2-0. Steven Gerrard, Liverpool's main man with the first goal through a volley and Fernando Torres, the potential striker finish off the game with a perfect header assisted by Steven Gerrard. Trust me, with these two killer combination, even in a team like Queen Park Rangers, they would definitely be in top flight in just a season. These two players are two of the best that Liverpool had and both had really good and unexpected chemistry between them.English + Spanish = turns out to be weird. Totally absurd.
However, I wouldnt be too sad even if Chelsea won the match because i would like to see Chelsea against Manchester United so that Man Utd has the chance to avenge their loss to Chelsea in the previous encounter. I hoped Vidic is fit and break John Terry's teeth and elbowed Drogba's ugly nose. Speaking of defenders, i do really miss Agger who were out for at least 4 months now. Hes so talented and can outclassed any strikers with his amazing finish.
